About
I am a Denver, Colorado based fine art photographer, with a part time residence high in the mountains of Frisco, Colorado, where I get most of the inspiration for my work.
Although always interested in photography, since getting a Brownie camera as a hand me down as a kid, I did not start seriously until 2013. There is a lot to learn (that will never end), but the journey is the reward. I hope you enjoy my creations as much as I enjoy making them.
Accolades
I’ve had the privilege of earning several awards and accolades so far for my work. I won first prize at the Sand Creek Photography Contest. I also won the John Fielder Award the year prior at the Sand Creek Photography Contest.
My pictures have been seen in print, including the cover of the Summit Daily, as well as multiple years of the Colorado Attorney General’s Annual Report. My art hangs in the Ralph Carr Judicial Center and Denver Health Hospital both in downtown Denver.
My art has been used on websites and also for a book.
In 2019 Peerspace listed me as one of the nine best landscape photographers in Denver.

Nature First
As an environmentally conscious nature photographer, I strongly believe in making intelligent and sound choices when photographing in the outdoors.
I belong to a large group of photographers who belong to Nature First. We agree to abide by a list of seven principles. Anyone taking photographs can follow these principles and help keep our environment healthy.
1 - Prioritize the well-being of nature over photography.
2 - Educate yourself about the places you photograph.
3 - Reflect on the possible impact of your actions.
4 - Use discretion if sharing locations.
5 - Know and follow rules and regulations.
6 - Always follow Leave No Trace principles and strive to leave places better than you found them.
7 - Actively promote and educate others about these principles
